How do I connect to my Enshrouded server?

Learn how to connect to your Enshrouded server and start your survival adventure.

Step 1: Get your server connection details

1. Log in to the game panel and select your Enshrouded server.
2. Make sure your server is started (green status indicator).
3. On the Console or Settings page, note down:
   • Server IP/Hostname: Your server's address
   • Game Port: The query port (default: 15636)

Important

You'll need to enter both the IP and port together, separated by a colon, like this: server.pnplay.nl:15636

Step 2: Connecting in Enshrouded

1. Launch Enshrouded on your computer.
2. Click on Play from the main menu.
3. Select Join in the following menu.
4. Click on Find Server (IPv4 address) on the right-hand side.
5. Enter your server details in the format: IP:PORT (e.g., server.pnplay.nl:15636)
6. Click Search and your server should appear in the list below.
7. Click on your server and then click Join to connect!

Can't find your server?

If your server doesn't appear after searching:

1. Try adding it to your Steam favorites first
2. Open Steam, go to View → Servers → Favorites
3. Click Add a Server and enter your IP:PORT
4. Return to Enshrouded and your server should now appear at the top of the server list

Password-protected servers

If you've set a server password, you'll be prompted to enter it after clicking Join. Make sure to enter the exact password (it's case-sensitive!).

First time setup

When you first connect to your server, you'll be able to:

• Create your character (Flameborn)
• Choose your starting location in the world
• Set gameplay preferences for your session

Your character and world progress will be saved on the server, so you and your friends can continue your adventure anytime!

Maximum players

Enshrouded supports up to 16 players simultaneously on a server. Make sure not to exceed this limit.
