How can I change my account password?

How to change your DirectAdmin login password and keep your account secure.

Keeping your DirectAdmin password strong and up to date helps protect your webhosting account.

Changing your password

1. Log in to DirectAdmin via the link in your welcome email, or go to my.planetnode.net, open your webhosting product, and click the login button
2. Go to Account Manager → Password/Email
3. Enter your current password
4. Enter and confirm your new password
5. Click Change

TIP

Use a strong password: at least 12 characters, mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. A password manager can help.

Email address

Update your email on the same page so you receive important notices and can recover your account if needed.

If you forgot your password

If you cannot log in:

1. Use the Forgot Password link on the DirectAdmin login page if available
2. Otherwise, open a ticket at planetno.de/ticket — we can reset it for you
