How can I manage DNS settings for my domain?

How to edit DNS records (A, MX, CNAME, etc.) for your domain in DirectAdmin.

You can manage DNS records for your domain in DirectAdmin. Changes may take a few minutes to propagate.

Accessing DNS management

  1. Log in to DirectAdmin via the link in your welcome email, or go to my.planetnode.net, open your webhosting product, and click the login button
  2. Go to DNS Management
  3. Select the domain or subdomain you want to edit

Common record types

Adding or editing records

  1. In DNS Management, scroll to the record type
  2. Click Add or edit an existing record
  3. Enter name (e.g. www or @ for root), value, and TTL
  4. Click Save

Leave the name empty or use @ for the root domain. Use www for www.example.com.

Nameservers

For PlanetNode DNS to apply, your domain must use our nameservers: ns1.planetnode.cloud and ns0.xyphen-it.nl. Set these at your domain registrar.
